Description   Have a hard time setting healthy personal boundaries? Live with a lot of fear and anxiety? Feel disconnected from your body? Come experience this 2-hour workshop developed to cultivate balance in the first chakra through 1). Self massage with therapy balls 2). A strong Hatha Flow class 3). Yin Yoga, Meditation, Mantra, and drawing practices accompanied by Kassandra’s live music and singing. You will also go home with a cheat sheet of chakra themes and balancing practices to take home with you. This workshop will explore one the seven main energy centres, or chakra-s, of the yogic subtle body that run along the physical spine. The first chakra rests at the base of the spine and works with themes of having your basic needs met, feeling grounded, having healthy boundaries, feeling safe in the world, and being able to relax and trust. The chakra system has thorough parallels with western developmental psychology, and both these systems serve as great lenses with which to deepen in self-awareness and life-long yoga practice.
